MARCEL TOURNIER – Deuxième Fantaisie de Concert
(Second Concert Fantasy)

MARCEL TOURNIER (1879-1951) This piece is a rediscovered gem. This nineteen-page, eight-minute, intermediate-level bravura piece showcases Tournier's early romantic style before he became the renowned impressionistic composer.

It is in one movement but is loosely divided into fast and slow sections, with beautiful melodies and brilliant technical work. Get your hands on this newly published work that was once lost to time and bring an important piece of harp history to life in your performances.

Here’s what’s inside.  Have a look and listen!

Catherine Michel played the Fantasie de Concert at a masterclass in March and it was wonderful. It is such a different piece from all of his (Tournier’s) other works.
