Our mission is to provide you, the customer, with excellent service and products. Whether you need major repair work on your harp, an excellent harp cover, or any of our Carl Fischer publications, what you will receive is the highest quality available anywhere.

The driving force behind Swanson Harp Company is, of course, Carl Swanson. Trained to an advanced level of harp playing, with studies both here in the United States and in France, he then turned his attention to harp repair and restoration, which became the main focus of his career.  He has written countless articles for both the Journal of the American Harp Society and the Harp Column.  He has published numerous editions of masterpieces for the harp with one of the largest music publishers in the world, Carl Fischer Music.  He has lectured at numerous harp conferences here and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. His many interests in the harp, whether it be harp repairs, harp manufacturing, new editions of harp repertoire, or the manufacture of harp covers,  have all been guided by an iron-clad desire for excellence and perfection. Whatever he turns his attention to, it is done with those ideals in mind. You can count on that excellence when dealing in any way with Swanson Harp Company.
